āSmoothies are a great way to start the day, and if you make extra, put it in the fridge to have as a mid-morning snack, or to add zing to an evening cocktail. The delicious fruit and produce here in Greece mean making smoothies is a real delight. It is worth investing in a good blender if you love smoothies as much as I do, but really any kind of blender machine will do.
So here are my 3 spring smoothie favourites ā¦ add as much or as little of each ingredient to your taste, and substitute with almond milk or simply a dash of mineral water if you are lactose intolerant.ā
Prickly Pear Perfection
Ingredients: prickly pears, Greek yogurt, fresh milk, ice cubes, and honey
