Where Our Guests Are Heading Next: Villa Trends for 2026

Wednesday, 26 November 2025

Demand for luxury villas in Greece for 2026 is already building, with guests looking for more space, privacy, and meaningful experiences rather than “just” a hotel stay. Recent luxury travel reports show private villas, multigenerational trips, and immersive local experiences leading the way.

Mykonos: Refined glamour for celebration trips

Mykonos remains the ultimate luxury playground, with strong demand for high-end stays into 2026. Guests are choosing large villas with sunset-view infinity pools and big entertaining spaces, close to iconic beach clubs yet private enough for quiet nights. Perfect for milestone birthdays, reunions, and destination weddings.

Paros: The rising star

If there’s one island everyone’s talking about for the upcoming summer, it’s Paros. Our 2026 enquiries focus on contemporary Cycladic villas with soft neutrals, large pools, and easy access to the beach, as well as wine bars and tavernas rather than all-night clubs – ideal for groups of friends and families who’ve “done” Mykonos.

Santorini: Iconic, but smarter

Santorini’s caldera views and sunsets are timeless, but recently, guests are targeting shoulder season (May–June, September–October) for a calmer, more luxurious feel. Most pair a few nights in a cliffside villa (hello, micro-weddings and anniversaries) with a longer stay somewhere more spacious, like Paros, Naxos or Crete.

Crete: Big island, longer stays

Crete is on the rise for upscale villa holidays, with booming interest in premium homes and long stays. Guests love sprawling estates with olive groves, sports courts and kids’ areas, using the island’s beaches, villages and wineries as a huge playground for every generation.

Planning ahead

For key weeks in June and September 2026, and for villas in Mykonos and Santorini, we recommend booking at least 10 months in advance – especially for large family groups.

P.S. We can help you match these trends to a luxury villa – just tell us your dream island combo and dates.
