The concept: Rooted in the Landscape

Olivewood is one of those houses where the setting does much of the work, but the architecture rises to meet it. Perched above Gialova with panoramic views across the bay, the lagoon, and the wider Messinian landscape, it accommodates up to eight adults and four children across four bedrooms. The separation between the main house and guesthouse is one of its strongest advantages, while the design itself feels rooted and contemporary at once, thanks to its low profile, earthy palette, and strong relationship to the olive grove around it.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces are central to the experience and among the villa’s strongest assets. The infinity pool sits just beyond the house, drawing the eye toward the water, while the covered dining and lounge areas create a natural place to gather throughout the day. A pool bar, outdoor kitchen, barbecue, and fire pit make staying in feel especially rewarding, and the terraced setting within the olive grove gives everything a sense of privacy and quiet. Even at full occupancy, the exterior feels generous.

Indoors

Inside, Olivewood is bright, spacious, and open to the view, with soft materials, floor-to-ceiling windows and muted colors giving the interiors a warm and settled character. The living room, dining area, and kitchen form one easy social space, while the TV room adds a more private corner for cozy moments. The master suite has a more indulgent feel, with its dressing area, bathtub, and walk-in shower, while the guesthouse bedrooms are equally well considered and benefit from their own terraces and ensuite bathrooms.

This location places guests close to some of the area’s most appealing experiences without losing the sense of staying somewhere private and landscape led. Gialova Beach is a short drive away, Costa Navarino is also close for golf and dining, and Voidokilia is within comfortable reach for one of the most memorable beach settings in the region. Overall, the villa is a natural fit for longer summer stays, golf travelers, or multigenerational holidays.
