The concept: Sunset on the Rocks

Open to the southwest and looking across the Aegean, villa Bellatrix hosts up to eight guests in four ensuite bedrooms and brings together one of Mykonos’ most compelling combinations: privacy, sunset views, and direct access to the sea below. The design is contemporary, but softened by timber pergolas, stone accents, and warm natural finishes, which give the house a more grounded and enduring character than many newly built Mykonos luxury villas.

Outdoors

A large pool, heated on request, sits along the edge of the terrace and looks straight out to the sea, while the heated jacuzzi and surrounding loungers extend that feeling of openness. The covered outdoor living area is especially comfortable, with the timber pergola, oversized seating, and long dining table giving the villa a softer, more beach house vibe. Add the pool bar, pizza oven, charcoal barbecue, and direct access to the private beach below, and the whole outdoor setup begins to feel complete.

Indoors

The interiors are pared back, but warm in all the right places. The kitchen is sleek and fully equipped, opening naturally toward the terrace and the shaded dining area, while the bedrooms feel restful and private, especially the upper-level room with its balcony and sea view. On the lower level, the villa becomes more retreat-like, with a hammam, gym, and TV room offering alternatives to sun-led afternoons. Bellatrix feels luxurious, but in a way that remains calm and livable.

Good to know

Bellatrix’s location in Kanalia offers an easy balance between seclusion and access, which is part of its appeal. Ornos, Mykonos Town, and Psarou are all a short drive away for beach clubs, shopping, and dining, but the villa itself keeps a much quieter rhythm once you come back. The pool can be heated on request, and the private beach access gives the house a sense of independence that stands out even in this part of the island. It is especially appealing to guests who want a more private, sea-led side of Mykonos.
