The concept: Time on the Terrace

You may start the day planning to explore Zakynthos and end up never leaving the terrace. Orpheas sits in the hills around Koiliomenos, where the landscape rolls toward the sea in the distance and evenings arrive slowly across the hills. Seven ensuite bedrooms give 14 guests plenty of space, while the long infinity pool, outdoor dining and fully equipped gym make staying home an easy decision. It is large enough for everyone to gather, but spread across three levels so quieter moments are never difficult to find.

Outdoors

Nature stays close to the edges of the terrace. There are loungers along the water, shaded daybeds for the hotter hours and an infinity edge that keeps pulling the eye beyond the villa. Lunch can turn into an afternoon around the BBQ and pool bar, followed by another swim or time in the jacuzzi jets before dinner. As the sun drops, the hillside catches the warmer light and the terrace shifts naturally from somewhere to spend the day into the obvious place to spend the evening.

Indoors

The warmer details become even more noticeable inside. Oak-toned wood appears through headboards, cabinetry and vertical screens, while woven pieces and soft lighting keep the bedrooms and living areas calm. The main level connects directly with the pool and holds three ensuite bedrooms alongside the lounge and kitchen. Two further rooms sit below near the gym, and the upper floor gives two king bedrooms private balconies and broader views. The overall effect is contemporary, but comfortably lived-in.

Orpheas enjoys a peaceful hillside setting near Koiliomenos, surrounded by the olive groves and open countryside of inland Zakynthos. The location gives the villa a wonderfully tucked-away feel, with plenty of space to slow down and enjoy the landscape at your own pace. Beaches, Zakynthos Town and the island’s livelier areas are all within driving distance, making it ideal to alternate quiet villa days with time by the sea or evenings out.
