Edith

The concept: Coast in View

Edith gives you plenty of reasons to forget where the car keys are. Perched above the coast in Planos, it looks across the Ionian Sea while keeping Tsilivi Beach, restaurants and shops close enough for an easy walk. Back home, six guests have three ensuite bedrooms spread over separate levels, a private infinity pool and enough terrace and garden space to make staying put equally tempting. The overall mood is contemporary and easygoing, with clean architecture that lets the greenery and constantly changing blue beyond the house do most of the talking.

Outdoors

The sea is never treated as a distant backdrop here. It sits beyond the pool, follows you along the terrace and reappears between the trees, giving the whole outdoor area a consistent orientation toward the coast. Sun loungers line the pool, while dining and the gas BBQ stay tucked closer to the villa for relaxed meals outdoors. There is plenty of open space to move around without the terrace feeling overfurnished, and mature planting creates a welcome buffer between Edith and the landscape beyond.

Indoors

Natural light has been given more importance than decoration inside. The rooms rely on soft greys, pale timber and simple forms, with large windows and balcony doors opening the interiors back toward the sea and surrounding greenery. Living, dining and kitchen areas come together on the main floor, while the three bedrooms occupy quieter parts of the house. The lower bedroom has its own private terrace, and the two upstairs rooms each open to a balcony, both enjoying clear views across the coast.

Good to know

The elevated position creates a useful contrast with Tsilivi below. You have the privacy and outlook of a hillside villa, but the beach and much of the area’s everyday life remain within walking distance, including places for dinner, drinks or supplies. That makes it particularly easy to leave the car behind for shorter outings and save it for Zakynthos Town or longer days exploring the island. The villa has private parking when you need it and is pet-friendly on request, rounding out a practical setup.
