The concept: A Home with Horizon

In the northern part of Zakynthos, where the coastline feels wilder and the sea takes on a deeper, clearer blue, Cyrisse offers a more intimate kind of stay. Hosting up to six guests, with room for one more on a sofa bed, the villa is arranged across three levels and makes the most of its elevated position through terraces, stone walls, and sea views. The house has a more rooted character than many contemporary Zakynthos villas, with natural materials, warm timber, and a structure that feels tied to the slope and the shoreline.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces feel open, sunlit, and understated. The pool runs beside the house and towards the horizon, while the surrounding loungers and lounge seating create different places to settle throughout the day. A shaded dining area and charcoal BBQ make the perfect setting for gatherings, and the overall arrangement keeps the eye moving towards the water. The garden adds a softer Mediterranean note, but it is really the balance between shelter and openness that defines the experience here.

Indoors

Inside, the design gives the rooms weight and character, with exposed timber ceilings, pale stone walls, and a softer palette that keeps the atmosphere relaxed. The two bedrooms on the pool level open directly outdoors, which gives the lower floor an easy, summery rhythm, while upstairs the living room, dining area, and kitchen gather around the view. The top-floor bedroom is more private, with its own ensuite bathroom and terrace adding a slightly more secluded layer.

The location gives Cyrisse a more specific identity than a simple sea-view villa. It places you close to some of the island’s most inviting northern beaches, yet far enough from the busier pulse of Zakynthos Town for the days to take on a quieter shape of their own. That rhythm tends to suit couples, small families, or friends travelling together especially well, since the area invites a more flexible kind of holiday built around swimming, long afternoons at the house, and occasional outings further afield.
