The Concept: Family blues

Fulvia is a designer canava in Imerovigli, the highest village on the Santorini cliffside, facing out directly onto the volcano. The villa combines the traditional Cycladic architecture with harmonious tones, and blends eco and reclaimed materials. This is a heritage renovation property of the highest level, the architects’ vision for sustaining the organic nature of the caldera living spaces being fully realized in Fulvia.

Outdoors

The villa extends over one level, entering from the cliff path and down private cliff steps, is the private gate and onto the spacious terrace directly facing Thirassia islet and the volcano. There are sun lounger daybeds with the best views on the island, and the stone-built outdoor jacuzzi organically follows the shapes and lines of this stylish sea-view terrace.

Indoors

Fulvia has interiors that are light and bright, with the arched insets, the local stone tiled floors, and pale wood furniture blending into one harmonious design magazine living space. From the terrace doors is the open-plan living area and dining space, and through an arch is the fully equipped modern kitchen. Off this space is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom set ingeniously in an arched inset, and a large walk-in cave rain-shower bathroom, built-in local stone.
