Named after the tamarisk trees called almyrikia in Greek, and surrounded by green lawn and unspoiled landscape, Almyra is a stunning white-and-stone villa near Ambelas, Paros, ready to welcome 8 guests. Ambelas fishing village, with its small harbor and well-known tavernas, is a short drive from the villa, while a string of gold-sand beaches sits a bit further, on the east and north coast of the island. A calm, easy base for exploring Paros.

Outdoors

Almyra’s stone terrace faces out to the sea from a verdant cliff, with Naxos’ port and town lights being visible across the water.  The expansive outdoor space is ideal for relaxing by the private pool or unwinding in quiet corners. The front veranda features a dining table and a cozy sitting area, where you can enjoy alfresco meals while taking in the horizon. The wood-fired BBQ invites long, easy lunches after a refreshing dip in the pool.

Indoors

Earth tones, natural stone, and white furnishings adorn the interiors, creating an atmosphere of calm, Cycladic simplicity. Right by the dining area, you will find the modern living room fitted with comfortable contemporary sofas and satellite TV. The fully equipped kitchen has all the essentials for easy meals, while the four bedrooms – including an independent guest room – are thoughtfully arranged to make you feel at home.

Good to know

Apart from the charming, unspoiled beach located 60 meters from the villa, a short drive away, you will find Ambelas, a traditional fishing village with local taverns and the namesake beach. For livelier evenings, Naoussa is ~15 minutes by car—a picturesque village with vibrant bars and restaurants.
