Brianna takes a different approach from the familiar Mykonian aesthetic. Instead of bright white curves and blue accents, the house uses earthy, almost monolithic surfaces that echo the dry hills around Kalo Livadi, then opens one entire side toward the sea. The result feels contemporary but closely connected to its setting. Three ensuite bedrooms sleep six guests, all facing outward to private terrace space and sea views, while the oversized infinity pool and the nearby beach, easily reached on foot, bring two very different ways of spending the day.
A long roofline creates shade before the terrace breaks open toward the pool and bay. That transition gives the exterior a nice rhythm, with sheltered sofas close to the house, sun loungers farther out and the infinity pool forming a clean horizontal line against the sea. Low planting and ornamental grasses fill the surrounding ground without trying to turn it into a manicured garden, allowing the landscape to remain recognisably Mykonian. There is also an outdoor shower, keeping the terrace as functional as its architecture is striking.
Colour appears in unexpected places once you move inside. Burgundy cabinetry runs along the open kitchen, matching the dining chairs, while caramel leather seats and soft pink upholstery introduce warmer tones against the textured walls and stone-like floors. Most of the character comes from materials, proportion and the way the glass façade opens almost entirely toward the view. The same restraint continues into the three bedrooms, where striped fabrics, warm lighting and generous ensuite bathrooms soften the architecture without distracting from the view.
Kalo Livadi is one of the easier eastern-coast locations for combining villa time with days by the sea. The beach is a short walk from Brianna and offers both relaxed swimming and places to settle in for lunch and drinks, while nearby Kalafatis offers another beach option when you want something more active. For Mykonos Town, dinner plans or a wider tour of the island, having a car is still useful, and Brianna has private parking. It suits days spent mostly close to home, with the rest of Mykonos still within reach when you feel like venturing farther.
