The main villa’s pool level is one continuous space of living, dining, and kitchen, with large openings that pull the sea into the room, plus a double ensuite bedroom that shares the same vantage point. Upstairs, three ensuite bedrooms open onto balconies that run the length of the house. The independent guesthouse repeats the open-plan idea on a smaller scale, with its own living and dining space on the pool level and a quiet bedroom above.

The coastline around Mochlos is known for being unspoiled and quieter than many parts of Crete, with clear water, rocky stretches, and a village that has grown slowly around its small harbour. From Sunbittern, you can easily combine days on footpaths or coastal roads with evenings in the local tavernas or drive out towards Agios Nikolaos and other parts of Lasithi for more variety.
