The concept: Blue Beyond

At Miel, the first thing you notice is how much of Elounda seems to open in front of you.  From the pool terrace, the balconies, and the main living spaces, the eye keeps returning to Elounda’s bay, the low hills, and the deep blue water beyond. The villa sleeps up to seven guests across four bedrooms and brings together the elements that make a luxury stay here feel complete: a private infinity pool with jacuzzi jets, light-filled interiors, a gym, and a setting close to Elounda’s beautiful, tranquil bay perfect for swimming and boating.

Outdoors

Outside, the terrace is arranged around the water and the horizon. The infinity pool stretches along the front of the house, with jacuzzi jets for slower moments in the water and loungers placed where the view can be enjoyed without much effort. There is space for outdoor dining, sitting, and cooling off between swims, while the glass railings keep the bay fully visible from almost every angle. The effect is clean, open, and very Elounda, with the landscape doing most of the work.

Indoors

The interior is softened by woven lighting, grey and yellow accents, warm wood, and windows that frame the sea. The ground level is designed for shared time, with the living room, fireplace, dining area, and kitchen flowing together in an open-plan space. The upper floor holds three bedrooms, including a master with an ensuite bathroom and whirlpool bathtub, while the lower level houses the fourth bedroom and a fully equipped gym. This gives family stays a little more ease, without pulling attention away from the main reason to be here: the view.

Good to know

Elounda is one of Crete’s classic coastal names, known for its sheltered bay, easy waterfront rhythm, and proximity to Spinalonga. From Miel, the area can be enjoyed in different ways: a boat trip across the water, dinner in Elounda, or a slower day that never moves much beyond the pool. It is also a good starting point for exploring eastern Crete, from Agios Nikolaos to quieter swimming spots around the Mirabello Gulf. The villa gives those plans a comfortable base, with the view waiting whenever the day turns back home.
