Duchess sits on a hillside in the heart of Crete, west of Heraklion in the seaside village of Rogdia, only about 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Heraklion. This newly built, private luxury Crete villa is a 7-bedroom retreat for up to 14 guests. Perfectly designed as a calm getaway, with wide sea views and spaces flooded with natural light. Duchess also has wheelchair-friendly features and offers a private path leading to the beach.
Outdoors
Outdoors is your private playground, with the designer infinity pool as the standout feature. The only thing on the horizon as you float on your flamingo is the sea and the sky, and for water therapy there are the jacuzzi jets and the waterfall—ideal for unwinding. The covered BBQ, wood oven and outdoor kitchen with dining for up to 20 set the tone for a Cretan grill night, with the moon and stars for company. After dinner, play your favorite song and sit around the sunken fire pit, sharing easy conversations.
Indoors
The villa is even more impressive inside, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors so the sea view flows into the living spaces. The neutral tones and warm wood paneling are understated luxury. Duchess has seven spacious, elegant bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and sea views. The impressive interior of this four-level villa is equipped with the essentials for easy stays: a fully equipped kitchen, a generous living room with panoramic sea views, an 80″ Smart TV and sofa space for everyone to gather. There’s also a home gym and a steam bath for further unwinding.
