The concept: By the Wetland

Villa Feather lets you stay comfortably close to one of Halkidiki’s rarest landscapes without needing to give up the ease of a well-designed holiday. Set between the Agios Mamas lagoon and the shores of Nea Potidea, the estate brings together five villas, ten bedrooms and five private pools for up to twenty guests plus 6 children on sofa beds. The idea is simple: you wake up facing an protected bird habitat, spend your days between water, walks and beaches, and return each evening to a space that feels like home.

Outdoors

During the day, the estate naturally spreads out. Some guests stay by “their” pool, others drift to another terrace for a change of view, and children chart their own paths between water, loungers, and garden. The pool bar and multiple BBQs make it easy to organize small gatherings or split dinners between villas. The backdrop is the lagoon, the distant sea and the low hills beyond, and at certain times of year, the presence of migratory birds adds another quiet layer of life to the setting.

Indoors

Indoors, every villa is arranged around the same concept: a light-filled living room that opens onto the pool, a compact kitchen set up for casual meals and at least one bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom. Some villas add a second bedroom, a bunk room, and extra sofa beds suitable for children. The design is contemporary and comfortable, with cool floors, neutral tones and practical storage for the mix of beach gear, binoculars and children’s paraphernalia that tends to build up.

Good to know

The Agios Mamas Wetland is part of the Natura 2000 network, offering a rare setting for nature observation, especially between autumn and spring. The beach at Nea Potidea is just a few minutes away by car, while the vibrant town of Nea Moudania offers everything from fish taverns to pharmacy stops. Thessaloniki airport, shopping and cultural sites are close enough that you can fold in a little city time before or after your stay, rounding out the experience without much extra effort.
