Greek Salad

The Greek salad is the signature dish of Greece. There are many variations in each region, yet the main ingredients are tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, green peppers, onions, feta cheese, and of course extra virgin oil. You can eat it as a side dish as well as a light dinner, always accompanied by bread to mop up every single drop. If you are visiting Peloponnese, make sure to buy virgin oil as it produces one of the finest ones in Greece that will give your meal an extra taste.

Zucchini Balls

Zucchini balls are a popular summer Greek appetizer made with zucchini, feta cheese, and plenty of herbs. Saganaki Cheese

An easy and finger-licking recipe! You just need 5 minutes and 3 ingredients; flour, olive oil, and cheese. Don’t use feta cheese as saganaki is better made with a hard cheese like kefalotyri or gruyere. The dish is served hot with a bit of lemon and pepper. Olive Tapenade

For this tasty sauce, you just need a mortar and pestle and some olives. You can pulverize the olives as much as you like either you like it to be chunky or to have a soft texture. You can also add any ingredients or herbs you want. This easy tapenade is perfect to use as a dip or as a sandwich spread. Yummy!

Shrimp Saganaki

You may have tasted this traditional dish in the waterfront restaurants in Mykonos, but you probably didn’t know that is super easy to make it at home. You just need some shrimps, fresh tomatoes, feta cheese, and 20 minutes of cooking!
