Oia Villa is an original sea captain’s house, renovated to luxury Santorini vacation villa status. Captain’s houses were built in prime locations in the village of Oia to overlook the bay of Ammoudi. Wealthy captains could see their ships coming in below and watch out for pirates! The entrance level front ‘yard’ terrace features a dining table and chairs and is the original outdoor space of this historic mansion. There is a small private ‘Aegean Balcony’ terrace on the first level with table and chairs to relax and admire the views. The kitchen stairs lead up to the roof of the house where you’ll find the large upper-level terrace. There is a bespoke stone-built outdoor heated jacuzzi, alfresco lounge area, and a wooden deck with sofas, sun loungers and umbrella by the jacuzzi. The designer’s use of local wood and stone, as well as the sunset and volcano views make this space a truly unique Oia experience.

Interior Design

The interiors are renovated to the highest standard. There are vaulted ceilings and hand-finished oak floors, antique pieces and vintage chandeliers, which make your summer home a regal palace. On the entrance level, you will find the spacious living rooms and 2 king size bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons and a stylish semi-outdoor dining table with chairs. On the upper level, guests will enjoy 2 queen size bedrooms and a shared bathroom as well as a loft kitchenette.
