Everett is a large, renovated heritage property located in the peaceful village of Megalochori, Santorini. The villa can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in absolute luxury. The villa was once a wealthy landowner’s house and consists of the main building, the large courtyard and the canava where the famous wine of the island was stored. The villa is idyllically situated in the alleys of the traditional village, past a little church and under bougainvillea arches. You will fall in love with this Santorini rental home as soon as you glimpse at its hidden wooden front gate that seductively calls you.

Outdoors

Everett boasts an elevated location in the village of Megalochori, so the views over the vineyards and down to the sea are spectacular. Upon entering the large courtyard with the house rising around it, you will find outdoor lounge areas and sun loungers, large pottery erns with local plants and the raised stone-built infinity style pool. The view of the church bell tower makes your summer postcard complete. There is also an upper level terrace with an alfresco dining table and chairs, as well as sought after views over the vineyards down to the Aegean Sea.

Interior Design

The villa is divided into two levels, with three distinct living spaces. On the entrance level you come through the barn doors into the compact fully equipped kitchen, by which you will find a large master bedroom with authentic domed ceiling and a large stone-built bathroom with shower and a stone bath tub. Off the courtyard, through renovated wooden doors, you come across the second spacious bedroom and the stone bathroom suite. The upper level is up the outdoor stairs accessed via the courtyard. It features restored wooden floors and high windows. There is a double bedroom and a bathroom, a separate W/C, as well as an open-plan kitchen and living area. The polished wooden floors and the original features give guests the feeling of a historic mansion, with a mix of antique touches and comfortable modern pieces.

Megalochori is a quiet village, once populated by rich vineyard owners, and around this area are some great local wineries open to visit for local mezze dishes and wine-tasting at sunset.
