The villa is located in Sodi, a residential area just 6 km from the historic Old Venetian Harbor in Chania. This beautiful town is vibrant with local life, feel the authentic Crete as you take an evening stroll in the lanes and have dinner at a waterside restaurant by the harbor, and then return the short distance to your secluded luxury vacation home Olena.
Outdoors
This modern 3-level vacation villa features huge windows facing out to the pool terrace and the sea beyond, and private sea and pool view balconies on the upper-level bedrooms. The terrace is made in local granite stone, with a wooden pool deck by your private swimming pool. There are comfy outdoor armchairs, and an alfresco eating area with a BBQ for the private chef to cook your Cretan feast. The pool has a shallow part for floating and suntanning, and there are beanbag sun loungers to lie back on and enjoy a drink with those stunning views for company.
Indoors
Over 3 floors Olena villa has a beautiful balance of shared and secluded spaces, and amazing views from floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the villa with a play of light and shadow throughout the day. The mix of pale wood, granite stone, and steel finishing create a contemporary ambiance. The pool level has a vast open-plan living area with windows up to the higher floor, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a stylish indoor steel and wood staircase going upstairs. The villa sleeps 6 guests on the 2 upper levels, all with a private balcony with sea and pool view, Smart TV, high-quality mattress, and of course A/C for a cool sleep after a sunny day at Olena.
Good to know
Just a few minutes from the villa there is a local café Koukouvaya that serves delicious Zoumero, a must-eat chocolate cake. And 6km west of the villa is Kalathas seaside village with a golden sandy beach and crystal waters, sunbeds and umbrellas, water sports, as well as restaurants, and mini markets. Have fun!
