Concept: Hillside secluded luxury villa

Esmae is a luxury Crete villa set on the hillside, about 2 km from the seaside town of Kissamos in the western part of Crete. This modern gated property sleeps up to 11 guests in designer style indoors and out, with panoramic sea views and a landscaped garden. Nature lovers will find this fertile area of Crete ideal, with gorges to hike and some of the most stunning beaches in the Mediterranean. Viglia Beach, less than 5 km from the villa, is a long sandy stretch with coves and crystal-clear water—ideal for families and quiet days away from the crowds.

Outdoors

The privileged location of Esmae provides wide views of Kissamos town, the sea and the countryside from the outdoor spaces. The private swimming pool is partially shaded by the striking upper-level balcony, and around the pool are sun loungers and comfy chairs set on a wooden deck. There is also an outdoor lounge with sofas and a coffee table, plus a hammock and a hanging chair, and the terrace is edged with green lawn, local trees and shrubs. The BBQ area has dining space for up to 20 people, and you can ask our Gastronomy Team to prepare a Cretan grill night while the lights of Kissamos sparkle below.

Indoors

This modern, three-level villa has carefully styled interiors, featuring local stone and neutral tones. The ground level has large sliding doors onto the garden and pool, and there is a bright, spacious open-plan living area with a dining table for 10 beside the fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs is reached by a glass-and-stone staircase; the upper level has large patio doors that open onto the glass veranda that appears to float above the swimming pool. Every bedroom in the villa has A/C, a top-quality mattress, and its own en-suite bathroom with plush towels and quality toiletries. Esmae has everything you could want in a luxury Crete villa.

Good to know

Balos Beach is one of the most photographed beaches in the Mediterranean and is only 15 km from Villa Esmae. This sea lagoon has exotic white sand and turquoise waters.
