The concept: Slow Down

Pared-back and sun-filled, Porphyra settles naturally into the slower rhythm of Antiparos. The villa sleeps up to eight guests across four ensuite bedrooms, creating a house whose structure is simple, contemporary, and quietly luxurious. Whitewashed planes, stone walls, and wide openings give it a strong Cycladic identity, but the overall impression is less about style for its own sake and more about clarity, light, and ease.

Outdoors

Outside, the villa’s pool sits front and center, framed by open views, loungers, shaded dining, and built-in seating that invite the day to unfold outdoors almost entirely. Nothing feels overworked here. Instead, the arrangement leaves room for the weather, the sea, and the island light to shape the mood, whether the day begins with a quiet breakfast under the pergola or stretches into an unhurried dinner around the BBQ.

Indoors

Inside, the main living space combines kitchen, dining, and lounge in one generous room that remains bright throughout the day. Decorative choices are restrained but thoughtful, with natural fibers and warmer details lending depth to the villa’s clean-lined aesthetic. The bedroom on the ground floor opens directly onto the pool terrace, while the upper level features three additional ensuite rooms. The overall effect is calm, contemporary, and reassuringly unshowy.

Good to know

Almira, an unorganized sandy beach, is less than a kilometer away for a quiet swim, while Soros Beach is also within comfortable driving distance. Antiparos Cave adds another point of interest nearby, and the main town remains a short drive away for evening plans or anything needed during the stay. The villa also provides private parking for two cars and welcomes pets on request. Altogether, it offers the kind of base that encourages long days at home and a slower, more settled island routine.
