Introducing a new traditional recipes section, we want to offer you a taste of Greece even before you arrive. Some recipes will be simple, some more complicated, but all are based on fresh ingredients, Mediterranean goodness and our love for sumptuous food. So go on, have a taste of modern-day ambrosia!

Feta cheese with sesame seeds & honey

What you need:

•    200g feta cheese
•    1 egg
•    6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
•    plain flour (enough to coat the feta)
•    50g sesame seeds
•    3 tablespoons of Greek raw honey

Use a slice of feta cheese, about 1cm thick. Beat the egg in a bowl, brush the feta cheese with it, then slightly cover with the flour. Add some more of the egg and then roll in the sesame seeds. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, and cook the feta cheese on each side until golden. Remove from the frying pan, drizzle with honey, and serve warm. Enjoy!
